Job Description
The Decision Intelligence Lab at DAMO Academy is tackling critical capability gaps in current AI, RAG, and Agent Systems when applied to industrial domains such as power and energy, petrochemicals and pipelines, aviation, high-speed rail, and finance. The key bottleneck lies in the fact that these systems lack scenario-specific knowledge, deep causal reasoning, and long-term self adaptability when facing high-risk, rapidly changing physical and industrial environments. As a result, they exhibit significant limitations and unreliability in autonomous decision-making and execution.
1. Long-Term Memory and Self-Modeling: Build a multi-level memory system that enables AI to form stable self-awareness and reduce hallucinations.
2. Advanced Reasoning Mechanisms: Equip AI with causal reasoning and complex multi-step reasoning capabilities, enabling reflection and planning based on memory.

准确的天气预报具有巨大的社会价值和经济价值。近年来AI已经在天气预报领域取得了较大的进展,多个基于AI的全球模型在实际中也取得了比肩欧洲气象中心的HRES天气预报的性能。另一方面,在电力能源、交通运输等多个行业对于高精度天气预报的需求显著增加。比如新能源发电如风电显著依赖于天气条件。此外,现有的天气预报方法对极端天气的预测效果不尽理想,也需要借助AI工具进行深入探索。我们将重点结合实际市场上对于高时空精度天气预报的实际需要,在多种观测数据(气象站数据、雷达数据、卫星数据)上,重点关注风速、辐照度、温度、降雨等指标和极端天气,构建高精度的预测算法。

1. 基于团队开发的八观气象大模型,在综合多种数据的技术上,研发新颖的基于AI的天气预报算法,解决天气预报中的各类实际问题,比如降雨和各类极端天气的预测。
2. 负责天气预报算法在实际业务中的落地,包括搭建各种数据链路、推送天气预报结果或者部署推理模型。
3. 参与天气预报产品的工程开发、构建和部署,并能够根据实际业务反馈改进算法和产品。

The AI4Weather is increasingly important due to its higher accuracy and resolution, low deployment cost, and capability to incorporating different kinds of data. The AI-Empowered Weather and Trustworthy Forecasting team at DAMO Academy’s Decision Intelligence Lab is working on developing advanced AI4Weather algorithms and products. Our core technical mission is to leverage AI to solve challenging scientific problems in weather forecasting and support downstream applications. We have released our Baguan foundational weather forecasting model in 2024, and have successfully deployed it in several provinces including Shandong, Beijing, and Zhejiang. In the field of weather forecasting, our team has established collaborations with multiple leading meteorological research groups in China.
We are currently seeking talents to solve challenging problems in AI4Weather and build corresponding product.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop AI-based weather forecasting algorithms based on the team’s Baguan foundational weather forecasting model, with a focus on some key variables such as wind speed, temperature, precipitation, and various extreme weathers.
2. Develop multimodal weather forecasting algorithms by integrating different data, including data from ground sensors, radars, satellite sensors, etc.
3.  Based on the developed algorithms, build the weather forecasting product and service with the team.

医学影像(如CT、MRI、超声等)AI识别技术在疾病筛查、诊断和治疗过程中发挥着重要作用。达摩院医疗实验室癌症早筛(例如胰腺癌、胃癌、肝癌等)、影像报告生成、医学图像合成技术(AICG)等领域已有多年积累,相关创新成果发表于Nature Medicine/CVPR/ICLR等领域顶会顶刊。传统医学影像AI模型大多是在专门构建的小数据上训练专有小模型,受限于训练数据量和模型尺寸,此类模型通常泛化性较差无法满足真实世界的多中心需求。近几年大模型的兴起,特别是医疗垂域大模型的出现,为医学影像分析带来了新的机遇。我们期望通过研究医疗影像AI相关的基础模型技术(包括但不限于多模态大模型、基础模型、AIGC生成大模型、Agent智能体、大模型优化等),解决泛癌早筛、影像报告生成、医学影像数据合成、医学影像分析大模型、医疗AI智能体等医疗临床问题。

1. 负责泛癌筛查大模型、医学影像报告生成大模型、医学影像基础大模型研发,包括医学影像分析大模型、医学影像生成大模型、医疗多模态大模型、大模型训练推理优化等相关工作内容。
2. 分析业务技术需求,针对真实业务场景设计合理的技术方案与开发路线,通过技术创新和业务验证实现显著的业务价值和效率提升,并产出高质量的学术论文或技术专利。

AI technologies for medical image analysis (such as CT, MRI, and ultrasound) play a vital role in disease screening, diagnosis, and treatment. The DAMO Academy Medical AI Lab has a strong track record in fields such as early cancer screening (e.g., for pancreatic, gastric, and liver cancer), imaging report generation, and Medical Image Synthesis (AIGC). Our innovative research outcomes have been published in top-tier conferences and journals, including Nature Medicine, CVPR, and ICLR.
Traditional medical imaging AI models are often small, proprietary models trained on specially curated, small datasets. Limited by data volume and model size, these models typically exhibit poor generalization and fail to meet the demands of real-world, multi-center applications. The recent rise of large models, particularly those specialized for the medical domain, has created new opportunities for medical image analysis. We aim to solve critical clinical problems—such as pan-cancer early screening, imaging report generation, medical image data synthesis, large-scale medical image analysis, and medical AI agents—by advancing research in foundational AI technologies for medical imaging. This includes, but is not limited to, multi-modal large models, foundation models, AIGC-based generative models, AI Agents, and large model optimization.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and research large models for pan-cancer screening, medical imaging report generation, and foundational medical imaging models. This includes work on large-scale analysis models, generative models, multi-modal models, and the optimization of large model training and inference processes.
2. Analyze business and technical requirements to design robust technical solutions and development roadmaps for real-world scenarios. Drive significant business value and efficiency gains through technological innovation and validation, resulting in high-quality academic publications or patents.
3. Continuously track the latest technologies and trends in the multi-modal AI field. Optimize existing systems and techniques to improve performance and efficiency, validating them in real-world business scenarios to establish industry-leading technical services and solutions.
4. Process and analyze medical imaging data, preparing and curating it into training-ready datasets for models.
